506 Eyes Breaks the Record on Nias Island!

We had an amazing, record-breaking eye surgery camp on the island of Nias in October, off the northwest coast of Northern Sumatra, Indonesia. 506 eyes were operated on – breaking the previous record by almost 100 eyes! Body & Soul Ministries (partnering with Caris Foundation) has been coming to Sumatra since 2005 – where we have performed 11,552 surgeries since the project’s inception. We ended up giving sight to 838 eyes in 2024!
